Introducing Daniela Micah Ivanita, additional diapers, feedings and LOVE

So our sweet beautiful baby girl joined us July 13, 2011.  Daniela Micah Ivanita It was a normal busy day for us except my in-laws were here, I decided we should go to the Experimental farm (it was beautiful out and mason loves going there) so as we were playing in the park I had that familiar feeling and thought I was going to get sick, so asked them to watch Mason while I ran to the washroom...had my first contraction with the sheep and the pigs plus 1 rabbit:) quickly composed myself, washed my face and went to play with Mason.  Never mentioning to my in-laws that the process had started and praying Alin would be home in time (he worked till 9) came home, put Mason down for a nap and started getting ready, when Mason woke up I thought we should go to the splash park so packed everyone up and headed to the park ( I always love keeping busy and having Mason play outside, the sun does us both good) came home from that, made dinner, took out garbage, cleaned a few things put Mason to sleep and waited and contracted till Alin came home.  I was watching the clock like crazy and the minutes seemed to slow down, the whole time breathing and praying.  When he walked in the door, he spent a while talking to his parents and I wanted to shout "I'm going to have a baby" but I wanted till all the chitchat was done then told him " I don't feel well", thinking he would get the hint (note always just tell your husband exactly what you mean, sometimes their oblivious) so he told me "why don't you lie down for a bit" wow he wasn't getting it, so I went to the bed room and paced for a bit and then came back to the living room where he was watching tv with his parents.  As calmly as I could said "we need to go to the hospital now!!" Off we went we live close to the hospital but I was worried a lot.  With your first one you don't know what to expect but since Masons was so horrific, this time I had no illusions of easy and started crying thinking I didn't know if I could do this.  Into the hospital we went, they checked me in,asked me a lot of questions.  Then left a few minutes later she came in and said it sounds like your ready to have this baby?!?? By the time they checked me, got me into the room, told me it was too late for the epidural.  It was INTENSE and BRUTAL but was over quick and a beautiful baby girl was placed in my arms (some concern about our little Daniela that I'll talk about in a different journal entry)
Brand spanking new and beautiful

I bought this blanket in lethbridge and I love how it's wrapping her in kisses xxoo
She inherited her long toes from me, too bad it wasn't my sparkling personality:)
A wonderful family of four...I know there's at least one more for us;)
My AMAZING husband with his little princess and his Queen, who didn't do so bad either:)

3 weeks have flown by with our Daniela.  She is a great baby and I find things are easier with her than they were with Mason.  However I do struggle with the times in the day that they both need me NOW.  It's amazing how your heart just gets bigger to love more.  I am so blessed.

It's awesome to have a new little one in our home, it's fun to watch Mason tickle her toes and watch her.

I am counting the days till we are joined by another little "love bug". I'm getting sooo excited to see what's being sent to us, what they will look like, how Mr. M will like his new playmate and then of course there's all the pregnancy things I just want over, since I remember too vividly how we have to get these angels here. YIKES

Mr. M turns 1, Mother's Day and countdown of 9 weeks till round 2 starts

Does the time really fly this fast! Mr. M turned 1 in April and with that a whole flood of emotions came along with it. I can't believe where my life is at this moment, I love it and am so blessed! I have a great husband who is kind, handsome, hard worker (so I have the opportunity to stay at home, some days I'm grateful lets be honest) is a great father and so stinkin funny. There has been so many times that I look at him and think this is why I married you. Just one little example that meant a lot, we had a argument actually lets call it a disagreement I was so sad, annoyed that I picked up Mr. M and went into his bedroom closed the door and started crying (out of frustration) Thinking how wrong this day had gone, how bad I felt for losing my cool, not even 5 minutes later this wonderful man walks in and we both apologized at the same time. We both felt bad and gave each other a group hug with little Mr. M in the middle. A kiss and hug later our perfect life resumes. Small things, but in my mind and heart this was a huge blessing. That we can fix our problems and continue on. I love this man so much!!!!!!

Now to Mr. M I look at him and think really are kids made this cute! His big blue eyes, his white blond curly locks (in the back) his contagious giggle, he is such a little boy he loves wheels, trucks, trains and destroying everything in his path. Example of his boyish charm, we went to a friend house for a play date with the cutest little girl he looks at her little stroller with a doll it, quickly dumps the doll out turns the stroller over and plays with the wheels.

Mothers Day! I had waited soooooooo long to be a mom and I am so grateful to be a mom. That's not saying that it's an easy job it's the hardest, most demanding, tiring, job I've ever had and the paychecks a lot different than the dental field but as I watch Mr.M discover things everyday, want to be picked up, give me a hug around the neck and a huge kiss ( not for the faint of heart as sometimes it's quite wet and interesting) I am so thankful to be his mom and to be welcoming another little one in 9 more weeks. I'm scared but excited to see how they react together and to have an addition to our family. I was treated to breakfast and flowers(gorgeous) and now my two men are taking a nap. Sheer bliss:)
