Today was the first Sunday of the new Year which means Mason now goes into primary. How did the time fly so fast, he did amazingly well and Dad and I were so proud of you!!!
Masons first day of primary
So proud of how well he did, ps love Daniela's smile here and yes the girls have matching outfits on:)
The weather has been so awful I don't mind snow but dislike freezing rain immensely. Makes me count down for our warm sunny vacation. Dominican here we come!!!!
The rest of the week looked something like this
This was late in the evening when I'm sure Abbie refuses to go to bed because she has both of our attention and gets to snuggle with dad
Trip to the library with the McAteer clan, we got there a bit before them and haven't seen them since before Christmas which may have been the reason this little conversation took place. As Evie and Eloise ran in Mason looked at her and said "Evie kiss me" she shrugged and said yep and planted a kiss on him. Honestly it was so surprising and funny, so much for worrying about him coming out of his shell and being sociable are problem may be the exact opposite.
Trying to do exercises, it's a family affair, Abbie wants to be held, Daniela dancing around and her and Mason throwing in a few "you can do it mom"
Some craft time, this one was a snow/tree handprint craft with salt as snow... They loved it, crafts and school work generally happen every day
Abbie enjoyed her yogurt immensely, this using a spoon sure has a learning curve
On Friday we were going to have a family date with a few other families on the canal, perfect weather but just as we were leaving the house, Mason said he didn't feel good and wanted to lie down, Daniela still really wanted to go so Alin stayed home with Mason and Abbie and I took Daniela. I was so glad I went, it was nice to have a mother daughter date, she was snuggled in and wanted to make sure I had my skating shoes on wanted to go faster and faster, we ran into the McAteers and skated with them a bit... Then got to the truck and noticed Alin had sent me a message that I was needed at home. When I got home there were 2 unhappy kids that needed their mom but one super excited little girl that was so happy I had taken her skating. After getting everyone settled we hunkered down for a night of fevers and sick kiddos
