And the horrible mother award goes to....

My poor kids this week, I win the awful mother award this week. Due to no patience, irritability, not being able to move as quickly and just plain monsterish. As I was doing dishes tonight after I put Miss D to bed and Alin is snuggled down with Mr. M I feel bad for my poor kids. Usually I have patience and don't sweat the small stuff but not this week. I'll spare you all the details because I really want to forget this week and start fresh. I have 2 beautiful children who are super busy which is a blessing. The third one due to make it's arrival soon so starting tomorrow, I will pray to have more patience and enjoy being a mom. I will not let things bother me, I will give hugs instead of being frustrated, I will kiss those chubby cheeks and hold hands and play (I'll pretend I'm the dad for the day) Here's to a new day of enjoying the possibilities. Love you Mr. M and Miss D

Our two yahoo's

Adventures all summer long, August long weekend consisted of us going to MT. Tremblant in Quebec, Alin did a little hiking to get ready for his adventure of a lifetime (Kilimanjaro) and I try to not let my green with envy self show. Then to the reptile museum for a morning of watching snakes, spiders, alligators and turtles. Many more adventures have happened but my time is short as I'm doing this while one is napping and the other is destroying the office.

Please press pause

So this little hurricane of ours is always on the move, and by that I mean you take her away from the dirt in the plant and she's crawling up the stairs, you move her from there she's into the cupboards with the glassware, to the pantry, to the bathroom to see if the toilet has been left up by a forgetful soul then on to torment her brother take a few of his cars...and so the day goes between the two of them it's crazy. So much for having kids that just sit there and look at picture books. So when she crashes she crashes fast and hard but only for a few minutes usually 20 at most. Had to snap this picture of her as she is trying to climb the couch, no doubt to crawl over the back of it but here she is catching some zzzzz's

More precious with time

It's amazing how time can change your thinking. When Alin bought my ring I was in awe, I had never seen anything like it. Of course I thought it was dazzling and beautiful, so shiny and sparkly. Yesterday I looked at my ring after 3 years, 2 BUSY children and one growing belly it has changed for me. I had just finished giving one sweet little girl some Advil (fever for 6 days, trip to hospital) and one little man had just finished throwing up on the floor, his shirt, my hand. My ring is scratched, has play-doh between the diamonds, a little throw up, some tears from me (what can I say it was a frustrating day) I love what my ring symbolizes more today then the day I was given it (March 20, 2009) It reminds me that I have a loving husband that goes to work and provides for our family, that doesn't leave the house without giving me a kiss, and the kids. That I love more and more everyday of sharing this journey with him. Is it easy NO, is it worth it YES!!! It reminds me that Heavenly Father has given me the chance to raise 2 and 1/2 beautiful children:) It reminds me of sacrifices made, my job, my time, my hair, my body, my sanity some days to say the least and reminds me of the blessings that have replaced those sacrifices are so much more important to me than anything in this world. Here's to little reminders like looking at my ring.

Introducing Daniela Micah Ivanita, additional diapers, feedings and LOVE

So our sweet beautiful baby girl joined us July 13, 2011.  Daniela Micah Ivanita It was a normal busy day for us except my in-laws were here, I decided we should go to the Experimental farm (it was beautiful out and mason loves going there) so as we were playing in the park I had that familiar feeling and thought I was going to get sick, so asked them to watch Mason while I ran to the washroom...had my first contraction with the sheep and the pigs plus 1 rabbit:) quickly composed myself, washed my face and went to play with Mason.  Never mentioning to my in-laws that the process had started and praying Alin would be home in time (he worked till 9) came home, put Mason down for a nap and started getting ready, when Mason woke up I thought we should go to the splash park so packed everyone up and headed to the park ( I always love keeping busy and having Mason play outside, the sun does us both good) came home from that, made dinner, took out garbage, cleaned a few things put Mason to sleep and waited and contracted till Alin came home.  I was watching the clock like crazy and the minutes seemed to slow down, the whole time breathing and praying.  When he walked in the door, he spent a while talking to his parents and I wanted to shout "I'm going to have a baby" but I wanted till all the chitchat was done then told him " I don't feel well", thinking he would get the hint (note always just tell your husband exactly what you mean, sometimes their oblivious) so he told me "why don't you lie down for a bit" wow he wasn't getting it, so I went to the bed room and paced for a bit and then came back to the living room where he was watching tv with his parents.  As calmly as I could said "we need to go to the hospital now!!" Off we went we live close to the hospital but I was worried a lot.  With your first one you don't know what to expect but since Masons was so horrific, this time I had no illusions of easy and started crying thinking I didn't know if I could do this.  Into the hospital we went, they checked me in,asked me a lot of questions.  Then left a few minutes later she came in and said it sounds like your ready to have this baby?!?? By the time they checked me, got me into the room, told me it was too late for the epidural.  It was INTENSE and BRUTAL but was over quick and a beautiful baby girl was placed in my arms (some concern about our little Daniela that I'll talk about in a different journal entry)
Brand spanking new and beautiful

I bought this blanket in lethbridge and I love how it's wrapping her in kisses xxoo
She inherited her long toes from me, too bad it wasn't my sparkling personality:)
A wonderful family of four...I know there's at least one more for us;)
My AMAZING husband with his little princess and his Queen, who didn't do so bad either:)

3 weeks have flown by with our Daniela.  She is a great baby and I find things are easier with her than they were with Mason.  However I do struggle with the times in the day that they both need me NOW.  It's amazing how your heart just gets bigger to love more.  I am so blessed.
                  In our front yard
It's awesome to have a new little one in our home, it's fun to watch Mason tickle her toes and watch her.

I am counting the days till we are joined by another little "love bug". I'm getting sooo excited to see what's being sent to us, what they will look like, how Mr. M will like his new playmate and then of course there's all the pregnancy things I just want over, since I remember too vividly how we have to get these angels here. YIKES
